How should repair fully automatic top loaded LG washing machine
I heard loud bang noise with the burning smell from our washing machine. I just rushed towards the washing machine and turned off the switch & removed the power plug from the mains socket.
I removed the back top panel to inspect the Power cord area visually there is no physical damage /Burnout. I checked the continuity of the power cord seems ok.
.once again I concentrated on the main problem.
And this time I have removed the full top cover for tracing the Cable and further inspection.
Here I found the Culprit beneath the top cover…………wire from the fuse is burnt and broken
I removed the fuse for testing…. as soon as I opened the fuse cover I found fuse clips are broken because of degradation and oxidation on it. I checked the fuse using a multimeter I found the fuse is intact. So I re-soldered the clips eliminating burnt wire and putting new wire from the fuse to the control circuit on the front panel
